EXCITING NEWS FOR ST.ANDREW'S CHURCH
(July 18, 2013)The Building Committee met with the church architect Russ Palmer today to discuss ideas about a possible lavatory outside the building and increased social space inside. Russ brought experience and insight to our ideas. The Churchwardens are arranging a meeting of the PCC in August to discuss how to carry things forward.
Readers will be interested to know that the PCC has been investigating various possibilities following on from the village survey we conducted in 2010. Small teams have been visiting all types of lavatories in all sorts of churches. Undercover agents have been observing the interior of other churches and other places with interest and sometimes admiration. But Russ has come up with ideas more suitable for us. So watch this space.
