Xmas Fayre 2012
(December 16, 2012)Many thanks to all who supported the Christmas Fayre.
We raised a fantastic £1036.
This year’s fayre was held on the 24th of November. The stall holders and setup team did a marvellous job of making the Kenn Centre very festive with white cloths on the tables and Christmas goodies in all their guises weighing down the stalls. On that very wet morning the hall was soon packed full of people, shopping and socialising with friends and neighbours. Stalls selling items from Christmas food, gifts, cards, jewellery, woodturning, crafts and textiles from India and bric-a-brac did a brisk trade. Some light relief with a coffee and homemade biscuits gave busy shoppers a chance to rest and watch the world go past.
Thank you to all who supported the fayre through donations of goods, purchasing goodies and the setup and clean up crew.
