St.Andrew's Supports Kennford Flood Victims
(December 28, 2012)Homes in Kennford were devastated by flooding during late November and many people have had to vacate their homes and have lost property due to the damage. St Andrew's Church has lent its support to the Relief Fund, set up by Kenn Parish Council to alleviate short-term hardship, with an initial donation of one thousand pounds. In addition, a collection for the fund was taken at our Advent Carol Service which brought in another three hundred pounds. We hope that those whose lives have been turned upside-down by this tragedy will soon be enabled to return to their homes and that their lives can revert to normal.
