A good time was had by all
(May 13, 2013)Saturday 11th May saw a good number from the Parish gathered at Sue Bretherton's home in Splatford for a Church coffee and social morning. We were well blessed to have 2 clergy present, thanks John and Mark. Thanks to the helpers from the social side of the Church who made it all happen, provided coffee and sold raffle tickets in a manner that Lord Sugar would have been proud of! Just as well seeing as we had so many prizes. A big thank you to our guest speaker Kelvin Boot our own resident specialist on all things creepy crawlie who gave us an insight into what he has been working on in the last 12 months (I did wonder!). He’s now moving onto a project with Monty Don, so keep your ears peeled to radio 4 for the new show. Last but not least, thanks to Sue Bretherton for hosting the event at her exquisite home.
