All Change at St Andrew’s
(May 29, 2013)Following the Church’s annual general meeting at the end of April (yes Churches have them too!) St Andrew’s welcomes as a new churchwarden, Geoff (Spanner) Bassett. Geoff takes over from Dr Ian Goodrick who moves into the role of Church secretary. Ian has done a sterling job in the role of Churchwarden during his tenure. We also welcomed to the most important role Rod (Tower) Harbottle who takes over as Church treasurer from Geoff Hawkins. Geoff, who is now in his 80s, has been undertaking the treasurer role for so long that he has forgotten how long he has been in post! He leaves the Church finances in good order and will be a hard act to follow but Rod is the man for the challenge.
