Sizzling in the Sunshine

Over the past few years the Sausage Sizzle has become a major fund raising event for St Andrew's. This year Linda & Phil Baker stepped forward to host this event.
On Saturday 6th July we were blessed with cloudless blue skies & rising temperatures in which to enjoy the lunchtime gathering. Over 60 people attended. Everyone enjoyed our BBQing culinary maestro, Peter Phillips, wielding those BBQ tongues with such aplomb & serving perfectly cooked sausages, provided by Wholesome Hog of Duckaller Farm Dawlish (who provided a generous discount on their headline price for their prize winning sausages). Shaun Ryder of Ryder Bakeries provided the rolls at no cost to the Church (a big thank you to Shaun for this). Thanks must also go to all the ladies who provided the yummy puddings.
Mark Bate did a sterling job in selling the raffle tickets & thanks to both Mark & those who kindly donated the raffle prizes. It really is appreciated.
Our thanks also go to all those that helped, from books to wine to plants to food servery. Everyone's efforts went to make a very successful afternoon.
The final thanks go to all those that attended, helping to raise in the region of £500
